There were many missed miles over the weekend - sometimes the weather just doesn't play ball.

I always say - Whatever the clouds. But sometimes, you have to be a bit more sensible than I am, and maybe re-arrange your training so as not to get hit by a wayward branch.

So if you ended up missing a run during the storm - don't beat yourself up. You dont get a lot of fitness from one run, but you can lose a lot when you either push too hard or you take a fall down the hill in very poor conditions.

Just make sure one missed run doesn't turn into weeks of it. Just like if you had one amazing session you're not suddenly going to think you're like Kipchoge. It works both ways. Miss one key workout or long run - it doesn't mean you're starting from square one again.

So if you're either starting from square one or from 1 missed run - we can start with this tomorrow.

I hope to see you there.
