I've been wiped all weekend with a sickness bug....
I didn't have a huge amount of miles planned this weekend but it still put a decent dunt in my training that I had planned.
With a December marathon looming it again looks like I'm doing (at best) a 10 day marathon block.
It's not really what I'd recommend, you're much better with 10-14 weeks.
But it's not all bad - because I've been fairly consistent throughout the year I still do have a decent base fitness which will carry me through the miles, albeit slightly slower than what I'd be hoping to do.
But that's why it's important to be consistent throughout the year. You don't know when something unexpected will come up and you miss some sessions, through illness or something else.
Not many weeks left of the year - stick at it, try and string some decent weeks together and when you get to the first week in January it'll help a huge amount Here's this weeks session;

Herefully see you there.
