Running can sometimes be a lonely sport.
The endless miles out the house when you're leaving a hundred things that should be higher priority.
But sometimes it's all worthwhile.
I like to think it shows the kids stuff you don't get from book learning.
And maybe they will work hard when they don't feel like it.
Today it all came together for me - the (almost) full family doing loops of Argyle. What a morning.
It's good to share a mile with others.
And you can do that every week. Half 5, at the Vale pool car park. Or elsewhere, if you're physically on your own you'll know there are loads of others digging deep with you somewhere else. Hopefully around a wee loop.
And as complicated as it seems and you think you might need some Da Vinci Code to work out the session, it shouldn't be that bad.
Hopefully see you there.
If I've programmed it right the efforts should be - 5,2,2 - 5,2,2.
If not, well I guess we will have fun anyway.
