About the event
The Mile returns....
1 mile around Argyll Park. The route is the same as last time - 1 big loop followed by one small loop. The exact start/finish will be explained on the night at the race briefing. The route will pick up 2 strava segments, the leading times will be read out at the briefing for anyone who thinks they can take them on.
Registration is required and race numbers (and safety pins) will be provided.
Terms of entry are below;
As before - numbers depending - there may be a male and female race - if not everyone will set off in the one race. This will be decided on the night.
Like all Run Rhaw events - this is aimed at improvement and bettering your own performance and working towards your own race goals. Every event or session we run, is always Whatever your level and Whatever the clouds. Please do not see this event only for people who are "fast". Every event is, and always will be, inclusive for all abilities. If you can't run for a full mile yet, you're welcome along, run as much as you can, walk a little, and then run again when you can.
This will be revisited again during the winter, so it's a good marker for you to gauge your own improvement over a period of time.
As you cross the finish line - please step onto the grass, turn and walk back down the route on the grass, and cheer on everyone who is running up the final straight.
